Ghost Tree Art Car
I started working on this wonderful old automobile about a year ago at the amazing Whitelake Park near Glastonbury. I recently came back to add some fine detailing on a really sunny Spring day. I'd had it in mind to come back and add to it, but it took me nearly a year to do so I might come back again, tbh and add some more details higher up. I really clicked with this car, the background colours were already there, and it had a great atmosphere about it. I'm enjoying working with flowing lines that move around shapes, and this car really had that in spades. I didn't want to do a "picture" on it, but somehow "infest" it with my "ghost tree" style using the lines of the vehicle as a cue. Anyway, here are the results so far. I have a few bits of car around, like wings and bonnets that I might try doing smaller versions of this on...maybe something that could be hung on a wall. Stay tuned, folks.
